Tuesday just wasn't the day for South Cobb's offense. They lost 18-0 to Pebblebrook on Tuesday.
For Pebblebrook's part, Sinsaire Walker made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Walker also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Pebblebrook is 2-0-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-11 otherwise. Walker was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and two runs. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
In other batting news, Karl Hajdasz was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. Pebblebrook is 2-1 when Hajdasz posts two or more runs, but 2-10-1 otherwise. Tyler Holmes was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. South Cobb has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Pebblebrook struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
