In what's become a running theme this season, the Windber Ramblers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Glendale 57-26 at home. The win was familiar territory for Windber who now have five in a row.
Windber was led to victory by Mariah Andrews and Kaylie Gaye. Andrews dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, while Gaye scored 16 points along with two steals. Gaye has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Angel James, who scored four points along with five rebounds.
Windber has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Glendale, they bumped their record down to 4-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Windber will be playing at home against Rockwood at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Glendale on the road again on Monday and play against Moshannon Valley at 6:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
