Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fremont). They blew past the Locke Saints 22-6 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Pathfinders in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won eight in a row.

James Harris was incredible, going 4-for-5 with five stolen bases, five runs, and two RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Jahdiel Roberts was another key player, going 2-for-6 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Fremont always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Fremont's record is now 12-5. As for Locke, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Fremont will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Port of Los Angeles at 2:00 p.m. The Polar Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Pathfinders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Locke, they will square off against King/Drew at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Eagles have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season.
