In what's become a running theme this season, Packinghouse Christian Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bethel Christian 52-17 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-0.
It was another big night for Pearl Harry, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Packinghouse Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Miranda Nordquist, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and five blocks.
Meanwhile, Calvary Baptist scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by The Grove School on the road to the tune of 53-11. That 42 point margin sets a new team best for Calvary Baptist this season.
Calvary Baptist found their leader in underclassman Kaylin Crewse, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Crewse has scored at least a third of Calvary Baptist's points. Aubrey Gelskey was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine rebounds and ten steals.
Packinghouse Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Calvary Baptist, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Packinghouse Christian Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 39.1 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Calvary Baptist struggles in that department as they've been averaging 43 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
