Buckingham Charter hasn't had much luck against Valley Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Knights will head out to challenge the Lions at 4:00 p.m. Buckingham Charter has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Louden Carter made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other pitching news, Jack Grexton looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Jeremiah Pritchard, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Buckingham Charter has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Valley Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.6 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Buckingham Charter might still be hurting after the 17-0 loss they got from Valley Christian when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
