The West York Area Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Susquehannock Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
West York Area's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell to York Suburban 46-40. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West York Area in their matchups with York Suburban: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Susquehannock, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against Kennard-Dale by a score of 36-24 on Tuesday.
Susquehannock's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Georgie Snyder led the charge by scoring eight points. Lindsey Sweitzer was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
West York Area's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Susquehannock, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
West York Area couldn't quite finish off Susquehannock in their previous matchup back in March and fell 37-34. Can West York Area avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
