Kemper Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Meridian HomeSchool, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's   matchup.  In other batting news,  Taylor Gordon was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs.  Macie Pitts was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple.
 Kemper Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .657. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Meridian HomeSchool only posted  an  OBP of  .333.
The  win  got Kemper Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Meridian HomeSchool, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record  this season.
 Kemper Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Meridian HomeSchool, they will square off against Jackson HomeSchool at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
