Perhaps the best among them was Stephanie Valenciano, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Valenciano is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Faith Ledesma, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Segerstrom and bumps their season record up to 16-5. As for Ocean View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
Segerstrom will look to defend their home court on Friday against Westminster at 6:30 p.m. Westminster is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Ocean View, they will head out on the road to face off against Garden Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
