Browerville/Eagle Valley had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 6-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Osakis. If Browerville/Eagle Valley were hoping to take revenge for the 6-33 loss against Osakis the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Browerville/Eagle Valley off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Osakis a 1-0 record.
Browerville/Eagle Valley will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg at 7:00 PM. Osakis are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against B O L D next week at 7:00 PM.
