Despite the defeat, Western Christian saw an underclassman step up: Hannah Yamamoto scored ten points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Yamamoto has scored all season.
Western Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for The Webb Schools, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-8.
