St. Francis never let their opponents score on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks 47-0. The Indians' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Lucas Raile was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 196 yards and three TDs on only 17 passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. What's more, he racked up 138.7 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Ethan Graham was another key player, picking up 113 receiving yards and one touchdown.

St. Francis didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Graham and Wyatt Klinzmann.

St. Francis' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, St. Francis will be playing in front of their home fans against Greeley County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, they will venture away from home to face off against Golden Plains on Friday.
