The Etiwanda Eagles will square off against the Gahr Gladiators at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Etiwanda is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Notre Dame (SO) 11-5. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Etiwanda got a great performance from Michael Aleman as he pitched 5.2 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Aleman also tossed a walk, which is notable because the Eagles are 5-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 10-11-1 otherwise.
