Georgia high school football scoreboard: Week 1 GHSA scores

The first Friday of the Georgia high school football season kicks off with over 200 games statewide. Here's a live look at the Top 25 teams in the MaxPreps Computer Rankings and a link to the live MaxPreps scoreboard, which includes all teams statewide.

Two matchups feature a Georgia team taking on a top ranked squad from another state, including a titanic matchup between No. 1 Buford and St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, Md.), the top team in Maryland in a national top 10 game. Dylan Raiola, the top rated player from the Class of 2024, makes his debut for Buford after spending his junior season at Chandler (Ariz.). He and the Wolves face a nationally ranked Panthers team that features 15 players rated as three-star, according to 247Sports.

No. 3 Colquitt County (Norman Park) will take on Dutch Fork (Irmo, S.C.), the No. 1 team in South Carolina.

No. 4 Langston Hughes (Fairburn) will meet MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year Julian Lewis and No. 7 Carrollton in a matchup between state top 10 teams. The Trojans are led by senior quarterback Air Noland, who enters his senior year with 8,024 career passing yards and 104 touchdowns. Both teams are also ranked in the MaxPreps Top 25.

Another matchup of state top 10s will be No. 8 Walton (Marietta) against No. 10 Grayson (Loganville).
