Softball Recap: First Preparatory Christian Academy Takes a Loss

First Preparatory Christian Academy fell victim to Robert Toombs Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 17-0 to the Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 back in August.

First Preparatory Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Robert Toombs Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First Preparatory Christian Academy will venture away from home to challenge Trinity Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.67 runs per game on average), something the Highlanders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Robert Toombs Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Pinewood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
