Masterman stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 72-40 victory over John Bartram. Masterman's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Jocelyn Goldstein was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 36 points and ten rebounds. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Masterman's points. Sophia Brunelli was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Masterman's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for John Bartram, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Masterman is on the road again on Friday and plays the Lancers at 3:15 p.m. on February 2nd. Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 335th, while the are ranked 95th). As for John Bartram, they will head out on the road to take on the Trojans at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Olney is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
