The Alisal Trojans won the last time they faced the Soledad Aztecs, and things went their way on Thursday too. Alisal really took it to Soledad for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-29 win on the road. With Alisal ahead 39-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Alisal was led to victory by Nayeli Gil-silva and Lesly Rodriguez trevi?o. Gil-silva scored 15 points along with 4 steals, while Rodriguez trevi?o scored 13 points along with 8 steals and 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Syree Barrio, who scored 7 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Alisal and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1. As for Soledad, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Alisal's road trip will continue as they head out to face Santa Cruz at 7:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Soledad, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gonzales at 7:00 p.m.
