After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five contests, Carson finally came back down to earth  on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Banning Pilots by a score of  3-1. The Colts' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Banning, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record  this season.
