From a Chicago basketball power to Georgetown University.
Whitney Young (Chicago) 6-foot-9, 210-pound senior forward
Paul White has had a basketball in his hands since the ripe old age of 1. The skills he has come to posses over these past 17 years are now opening doors for him at Georgetown University.

Before he puts on that Hoyas jersey, however, White has some goals of his own to reach as a Dolphin.
One of them is to repeat as Public League champions this season. That might just happen tonight at Chicago State where 7,000 some-odd folks will be in attendance to witness what is being dubbed as the "Clash of the Titans 2014."
Paul White and the Dolphins, ranked
No. 15 in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25, take on National Player of the Year candidate
Cliff Alexander and the No. 3
Curie (Chicago) Condors.
Another one of White's goals is to win Whitney Young its third 4A ISHA State Championship, and first since he and
247sports No. 1-ranked player
Jahlil Okafor have been playing varsity together at the Chicago magnet school.
Jabari Parker and his
Simeon (Chicago) squads made that a very difficult task after the Dolphins' 2008-09 title run.
247sports ranks White as the No. 50 overall recruit after averaging 13.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game as a junior on a team that went 27-4 and finished No. 10 in the 2013 final Xcellent 25.
White will be reunited with former teammate
L.J. Peak at Georgetown. Peak, also a senior, transferred home to
Gaffney (S.C.) for this school year after spending last year at Whitney Young.
