After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five games, Heritage finally came back down to earth on Monday. They fell 5-1 to the Archer Tigers. The Patriots' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Heritage saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Bush, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Archer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

While Heritage had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
