The Melba Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past North Star 86-39 at home. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
When it comes to explaining why North Star lost, one person who can't be blamed is Blake Hansen. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with two steals.
Melba's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for North Star, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-17.
Melba didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-51 win vs. New Plymouth on the 7th. North Star has also already played their next matchup, a 65-28 loss against Nampa Christian on the 7th.
