Marshall's loss came despite strong showings from Jeda Taylor and Giselly Gaona. Taylor scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 blocks, while Gaona scored 9 points along with 3 steals. Taylor is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Alicia Quintanar was another key contributor, scoring 3 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Moorpark has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
