Softball Recap: Chattooga Extends Winning Streak to Three

Chattooga had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Fannin County on Thursday. The Indians never let the Rebels get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Chattooga, bringing their record up to 6-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Fannin County, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.
