The Tantasqua Regional Warriors lost against the Millbury Woolies back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Tantasqua Regional fell 54-44 to Millbury. Tantasqua Regional has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Millbury's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kenny Donnelly, who scored 21 points. The contest was Donnelly's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Anthony Phillipo, who scored 12 points.
Tantasqua Regional bumped their record down to 1-3 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Millbury, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tantasqua Regional will be home for the holidays to greet Minnechaug Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Millbury will be home for the holidays to greet Burke at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
