Cole Allen Turns in Season-Best Effort
Cole Allen produced his most outstanding game to date while leading St. John to the win on Friday. Allen rushed for 439 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 15.7 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards.
Allen might have his next game, a home matchup with Episcopal School of Dallas, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Allen saw the Eagles), he rushed for 242 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown.
