Etna is 5-0 against Biggs since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Etna Lions' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Biggs Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th.
Last Friday, Etna suffered a tough 45-23 loss at the hands of Trinity. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Etna in their matchups with Trinity: they've now lost eight in a row.
Meanwhile, Biggs was able to grind out a solid victory over Williams on Friday, taking the game 30-20.
Etna's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-18. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.3 points per game. As for Biggs, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.
Etna didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Biggs in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 56-52 win. Does Etna have another victory up their sleeve, or will Biggs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
