Freedom won the last time they faced South Caldwell and things went their way on Friday too. The Patriots blew past the Spartans 57-35. Loss or not, South Caldwell got some senior leadership from Corbin McGhinnis and Masyn Clay. McGhinnis threw for 247 yards and three TDs, while Clay picked up 94 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Clay's longest reception was for an incredible 79 yards.

Freedom's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for South Caldwell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
