The Jarrell Cougars won the last time they faced the China Spring Cougars, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Jarrell came out on top against China Spring by a score of 56-44. The win made it back-to-back wins for Jarrell.
Aniya Taylor was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with six assists and six steals. The matchup was her 25th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lamyre' Fitch, who scored 11 points along with six steals.
Jarrell is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for China Spring, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.
Jarrell is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Marble Falls at 6:30 p.m. on January 9th. As for China Spring, they will be playing at home against Connally at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Connally is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
