Naaman Forest hasn't had much luck against Wylie East recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rangers are taking a road trip to square off against the Raiders at 5:30 p.m. That contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Ja'Ki Robinson and Jaiden McLemore.
Naaman Forest blew Lakeview Centennial out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Lakeview Centennial got their revenge. The Rangers fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 22-20. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Rangers have suffered since October 4, 2024.
Although Naaman Forest took the loss, they still got scores from Khaleel Muhammad Turner and TREVION DIZER.
Even if they lost, Naaman Forest's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Muhammad Turner, Brody Perales, and Ire Okunade, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, Wylie East strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 55-0 win over South Garland. That 55 point margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.

Naaman Forest's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Wylie East, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
Thursday's game might be decided on the ground. Naaman Forest has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 201.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Wylie East struggles in that department as they've been averaging 251.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Naaman Forest took a serious blow against Wylie East in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 49-19. Thankfully for the Rangers, Howard Fisher IV (who rushed for 78 yards and two scores, and also threw for 299 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 12.5 yards per attempt) won't be suiting up this time.
