Northside came out on top against Mundy's Mill on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Patriots blew past the Tigers 7-1. Considering the Patriots have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Sam Laney, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Gabe Galarza, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI.

Northside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .677. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Northside pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Mundy's Mill, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Northside beat the Tigers by a score of 14-0 on Thursday.
