Baseball Recap: Arlington Snags Tenth Victory in Last 12 Games

Arlington won against Bishop Gorman last Thursday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Lions never let the Lakeside Lancers get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Arlington has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Lakeside, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Arlington will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lancers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
