Cj Johnson Delivers Electric Performance Vs Macon-East Montgomery Academy
Starting off the list is Springwood's Cj Johnson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Johnson rushed for 423 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 17.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 90-yard run.
If the past is any indication, Johnson could be in store for another big game when he takes on North River Christian on Friday. When Johnson last faced the Chargers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 156 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries.

Sam Wallace Has Career Rushing Day
Sam Wallace posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He wasn't messing around, rushing for 230 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry, and also throwing for 125 yards and a touchdown. The match was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.
Macon-East Montgomery Academy moved to 6-1 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. Wallace and Macon-East Montgomery Academy will challenge Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Caleb Cole Leads Southern Prep Academy over Meadowview Christian
On Friday, Southern Prep Academy got the W thanks in part to Caleb Cole playing the best football he has all season. Cole picked up 179 receiving yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 receiving yards.
Unfortunately for Meadowview Christian, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Cole. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Cole saw the Trojans), he picked up 263 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Cornerstone Christian Wins Tenth-Straight Thanks to Zeke Adams
Zeke Adams was instrumental in extending Cornerstone Christian's winning streak to ten on Friday. Nobody could stop Adams as he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 137 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 110 rushing yards.
Cornerstone Christian pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Adams and Cornerstone Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Macon-East Montgomery Academy at 7:00 p.m.

Markevean Johnson Dazzles in Evangel Christian Academy Loss
Rounding off our Top Five is Markevean Johnson of Evangel Christian Academy. Johnson made ten total tackles and defended two passes.
This is the second loss in a row for Evangel Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-4. Johnson and Evangel Christian Academy will stay at home for another week and welcome Lakeside School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
