The Madera Coyotes will head out on the road to face off against the Sanger Apaches at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Madera is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 13-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
On Wednesday, Madera took a serious blow against San Joaquin Memorial, falling 80-33. While losing is never fun, Madera can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 445th, while San Joaquin Memorial is ranked 97th).
Meanwhile, Sanger had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Justin Garza 62-43 on Wednesday.
Madera has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-13 record this season. As for Sanger, their victory bumped their record up to 13-15.
