After losing to the Guajome Park Academy Frogs the last time they met, the River Valley Leopards decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. River Valley came out on top against Guajome Park Academy by a score of 3-1 on Monday.
River Valley hit Guajome Park Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Sofie Yeagy,
Olivia Solorzano, and
Jada Langley.
River Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Guajome Park Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13-1 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River Valley will stay at home for another game and welcome Liberty Charter at 3:15 p.m. on February 7th. Guajome Park Academy will take on Maranatha Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Guajome Park Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
