Coventry has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Somers Spartans at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Coventry proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 20) but on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-50 win over Rockville.
Meanwhile, Somers strolled past Canton with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 59-40.
Coventry has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Somers, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
Coventry came up short against Somers when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 57-51. Can Coventry avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
