The Foothill Tech Dragons will take on the Oxnard Yellowjackets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Foothill Tech is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Foothill Tech took a 16-run loss the last time they faced off against Ventura, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Dragons narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Cougars 4-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dragons.

Robert Juker was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Foothill Tech: the team is undefeated when he posts at least one home run, but 5-7 otherwise.
Meanwhile, Oxnard owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Chatsworth.
The result came thanks to Diego Ahumada's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Gavin Ramos, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jordan Garcia, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Oxnard always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2025.
Oxnard's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Foothill Tech, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
