Basketball Recap: Barrack Hebrew Academy Skates Past Kimberton Waldorf with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Barrack Hebrew Academy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Kimberton Waldorf Bulls 67-31. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Cougars just coasted through the last quarter.

When it comes to explaining why Kimberton Waldorf lost, don't look at Camron Nixon. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. The game was Nixon's fourth in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aedlin Armistead, who posted six points.

The win made it two in a row for Barrack Hebrew Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Kimberton Waldorf, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Barrack Hebrew Academy will venture away from home to face off against Merion Mercy Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kimberton Waldorf, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Valley Forge Baptist Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
