With league play winding down this week or next, the races are tightening. And everyone is leery of upsets. It happened last week with Jesuit (Carmichael) losing to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs) and small-school power Bradshaw Christian beating Elk Grove. When the upsets happen in the playoffs, that's when the emotions soar or boil.
