After two games on the road, Cabrillo is heading back home. They will take on the Pioneer Valley Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cabrillo's last eight matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Wednesday, Cabrillo and Mission College Prep finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.
Meanwhile, Pioneer Valley kept a clean sheet against Nipomo on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 5-0 victory. Yoceline Mendez was a massive factor in the win, as she booted in four goals all by herself.
Cabrillo's draw makes their record 5-11-6 on the season. As for Pioneer Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5-4 record this season.
