Live Oak's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maya Rafat led the charge by scoring 14 points along with three steals. Isabelle Cline was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Live Oak pushed their record up to 13-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Westmont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.
Live Oak will head out on the road to take on Del Mar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Del Mar will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for Westmont, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gilroy at 7:00 p.m.
