The Ross Rams fought the good fight in their overtime game against the Franklin Wildcats on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to the Wildcats. Ross has struggled against Franklin recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Franklin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lincoln Clark, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Clark has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Cook, who scored 23 points.
Ross has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Franklin, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Ross will take on East Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Central is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Franklin, they will be playing at home against Brookville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
