Pine-Richland has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  take on the Beaver Bobcats at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. Hopefully Pine-Richland is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank  in Pennsylvania (they are ranked 162nd, while Beaver is ranked 460th).
 Last Monday, Pine-Richland was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  50-44 to Norwin.
 The losing side was boosted by   Madison Zavasky, who  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and ten  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Catherine Gentile, who  scored 12 points along with seven  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Beaver's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their fifth straight  loss. They were beaten by Blackhawk 63-22. Beaver has struggled against Blackhawk recently, as their  match on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
 Pine-Richland's loss  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 7-12. As for Beaver, they dropped their record down to 6-13 with that  loss, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Pine-Richland strolled past Beaver in their previous matchup  back in February of 2023 by a score of  52-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pine-Richland since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
