Cairo's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Brooks County Trojans 11-1. The Syrupmakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by ten runs or more this season.

Cairo's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Brooks County, their loss was their 11th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-22.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cairo will venture away from home to square off against Bainbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brooks County, they will face off against Georgia Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
