Patrick Henry has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Point Loma Pointers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Patrick Henry was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 35-30 to San Diego. Patrick Henry has not had much luck with San Diego recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Cecelia Parker, who scored five points along with ten rebounds and three steals. She also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kimora Nears, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Point Loma strolled past Lincoln with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 46-31.
Patrick Henry's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-14. As for Point Loma, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
Patrick Henry took a serious blow against Point Loma in their previous matchup back in February of 2020, falling 60-12. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Patrick Henry was down 41-9.
