Cornerstone Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Cornerstone Christian had a senior duo take command as Mecca Alexander went 8 for 15 from beyond the arc en route to 44 points and 5 assists and Pamela-Joyce Allen dropped a double-double on 39 points and 12 rebounds. Alexander also pulled down eight rebounds for the first time this season. Zakara Cooper was another key contributor, scoring no points along with 12 assists and six rebounds.
The victory (which was Cornerstone Christian's fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.2 points per game. As for Making Waves Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.
