Eagle Rock stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bravo 55-16 at home. Given Eagle Rock's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 256th, while Bravo is ranked 757th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eagle Rock to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brooklyn Romero, who scored 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Audrey Campos was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Marshall had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Lincoln by a score of 53-42 on Wednesday.
Eagle Rock is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Marshall, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.
Everything came up roses for Eagle Rock against Marshall in their previous meeting on January 10th as the team secured a 61-28 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Marshall's Jeda Taylor, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and seven blocks.
