The Kimball Jaguars waltzed into Friday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 38-31 victory over Tokay. Given Kimball's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th, while Tokay is ranked 710th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Among those leading the charge was Sierra Tuliau, who scored 6 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals. Gabrille Robinson was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Kimball's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Tokay, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
Kimball will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Stagg at 5:30 p.m. on December 9th. Hopefully Stagg focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday. As for Tokay, they will square off against Lathrop at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lathrop is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
