The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Nedrich, who scored six points along with three steals.
Shade's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.8 points per game. As for Blacklick Valley, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shade will take on Rockwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blacklick Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Northern Cambria at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Northern Cambria will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 536th, while Blacklick Valley is ranked 192nd).
