Westminster Christian and Incarnate Word Academy are an even 3-3 against one another  since August of 2015, but likely not for long. The Wildcats will venture away from home to  face off against the Red Knights  at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Westminster Christian is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last ten games.
Westminster Christian's pitching crew heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Wednesday. They blew past St. Joseph's Academy 11-0. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won nine matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Charlie Berkmeyer was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with one  double and one  RBI.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sophia Bell, who  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Abby Milgie was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Westminster Christian  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits in seven consecutive  contests.
Meanwhile, Incarnate Word Academy came up short against Union on Monday and fell  7-4. The Red Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Erin Meriwether made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Francesca Lane, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Incarnate Word Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Westminster Christian, their record now sits at 12-6.
Thursday's   game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Westminster Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .353. However, it's not like Incarnate Word Academy struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .376. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Westminster Christian skirted past Incarnate Word Academy  3-2 when the teams last played  back in October of 2024. Will the Wildcats repeat their success,  or do  the Red Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
