Hilltop had a senior duo take command as Kayli Salgado went 11-for-19 en route to 24 points and six steals and Alizeah Zapata almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Zapata has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Diana Herrera, who shot 45% from the field on her way to 10 points and five steals.
Hilltop smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.
