Yuba City managed to keep up with River Valley until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Yuba City Honkers came up short against  the River Valley Falcons, falling  48-26. Those 23 points gave  Nijjar a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Avneeth Gill, who  dropped  a double-double on 12  points and ten  rebounds.
Yuba City is  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-11. As for River Valley, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record  this season.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Del Campo the next time they take the court. Yuba City will  host Del Campo at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday, while River Valley will head out to face them  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
